Welcome to the frame Your way to five figures photography podcast. I'm your host, Brooke Jefferson, and I'm so happy you're here. I created this podcast aspiring photographer in mind to help you go from 0 to 5 figures and beyond. You made it to the final day. Give yourself a round of applause, but seriously do it. Or at least give yourself a pat on the back. It's time to put all the work together and give this final assignment ago. It is timeto launch your business, my friend. Let's review what we have accomplished over the last few days. On day one, we identified your style day to you, wrote out your vision and defined your niche. Day three. You identified your ideal client. Day four. You figured out and set your pricing, and today you will plan out your promotional shoot to build your portfolio and start advertising. How does it feel to know that in just five days you have laid the foundation of your business and you are ready to put yourself out there? It is time to book your very first client. So how are we gonna put the promotional shoot together? Well, you're going to use the building blocks of days one through four. Put that all together and you're going to come up with a promotional shoot. So one day, one you identify your style and how that's gonna help you with this shoot is you determined what type of shoot you want to create? You know what kinds of clothes they're gonna wear, and you know what types of people you're going to have in your promotional shoot. Day two was your vision and your niche. And again, whatever niece you chose should be the promotional shoot that you're going to design and create. On Day three, you identified who? Your ideal client, waas. And now your job is to go and reach out to somebody that fits your ideal client profile and ask them if they would be willing to do your photo shoot. Usually when I reach out to somebody for a promotional shoot or a style shoot or whatever you want to refer to it as people are usually over the moon and super excited, and I've even had people ask me, I would love to be in it. How much is it going to cost So most people know that they're not going to just do it for free. However, since this is a promotional shoot or a style shoot, please feel free. If you're willing to put the time in for free that you can offer it for nothing in return for them. Or you can say I'm not going to charge you to be in my promotional shoot. But after the shoot, if you would like to purchase any of the images that I have done for you, I can create a special package as a way to say thank you for helping me out on my promotional shoot. And Day four is where you set up. You're pricing so that after you start advertising and promoting your promotional shoot, now you have something to send to people. So if you didn't go ahead and make a pricing guide from Day four, then go ahead and do that so that you are ready to go when people start reaching out to you to start booking you as their photographer. So this promotional shoot, basically what you're going to do is you're going to envision using Day one and Day two, your style in your vision and your going Teoh, reach out to local vendors in your area to try and get a shoot put together. So if you are wanting to do a style engagement shoot, then you're gonna want to reach out to maybe a florist, maybe a dress shop or a boutique that can donate the clothing for your shoot. And the reason that you want to do this and you want to reach out to other local vendors is that you are giving them free advertisement and in return, you are going to be able to tag them, and their audience is going to be able to see your images, and you're going to get leads and clients that way. This is a genius idea, You guys, I did not come up with this all by myself. However, I have done this many times, and it has turned out to be really, really successful. So I want you to reach out today to somebody that is going Teoh fit this ideal style toot that you're creating. I want you to reach out to vendors, and I want you to be able to find your people you're gonna be photographing and then make sure that you have all the pieces and a set date and a set time to where you're going to do this promotional shoot. And then you're going to use every little bit of your images to promote on your social media platforms to get more eyeballs on the type of photography you plan to create. This is how I wish I would have started my business to begin with. But once I figured out this really cool trick and tip on how to do this style shoot, it really, really, really helped my business a lot. So I hope you find this super helpful. I can't wait to hear the success from this five day Siri's that I've put on, and I can't wait to see photos from your promotional shoot. So please don't hesitate to share those inside of the group, and I will see you guys next week for another episode of the frame your way. Photography podcast. Get out there, grow your business and make a move, and I will see you on the next
